EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT
The Moor House Partnership is
committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment, and to
encouraging diversity in the workforce. We believe that, as
organisations seek and develop the best possible staff for their
business, it is in their interests to cast the net widely in their
community and to avoid setting criteria for selection or recruitment
which exclude talented people for arbitrary reasons.
For this reason, the practices which we and our associates adopt, and
those we recommend to our clients in relation to recruitment,
selection, training, development and promotion, are designed to ensure
that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on
the grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin,
religion, disability, trade union membership or non-membership, sex or
marital status. In this way, we aim:
- to ensure that
individuals are selected, promoted and otherwise treated solely on the
basis of their relevant aptitudes, skills and abilities.
- to promote an awareness of the diverse skills and experiences available in all sectors of the community.
As partners, we commit ourselves to implementing this policy by:
- not discriminating during the course of employment against associates, colleagues or clients.
- not inducing, or attempting to induce, others to practise unlawful discrimination.
- promoting good practice through the advice and materials we provide to clients.
Special services for visually impaired people
For a small additional cost,
we are able to provide our materials in Braille or on audio-tape for
clients or candidates with visual impairment.

"We decided to ask
the advice
of a local recruitment consultant, Catherine Price, of The Moor House
Fellowship... This saved us time because she helped us to focus on what
needed to be done... We gained expert advice and a tailor-made
assessment process."
